Greetings from the beautiful land of Hofheim, Germany! Today, was our second day out here in Europe and it was quite eventful. We started the day off with a band with a very traditional breakfast, went to downtown Frankfurt to sightsee, and had our first concert working with Missionaries Richard Crabb in a small hotel conference room. Although the turnout only resulted in approx. 20 people, they received us extremely well and our performance seemed to be a big hit drawing a crowd outside of the open windows. We were informed by the missionaries that there were a number of non-believers in the audience and we had the opportunity to share the gospel with them through our music. It was quite an exciting experience. Overall, today was an awesome day and tomorrow will be our first "work-day" where we travel to Worms and Bad-Durkheim. Were staying at a Hostel in Worms and we have 2 concerts in Bad-Durkheim, one out doors and the other in a church. We'll have more details to come but I'll leave you with some of the really cool experiences we shared today:
-In Frankfurt, we witnessed the train station where most of us enjoyed our first Germany McDonalds Experience.
-Many of us visited different shops where we could find souvenirs and good deals on "western wear."
-We witnessed the "Occupy Frankfurt" rallies in the heart of Frankfurt. (Surprising that this has come over the Pacific to have an influence here)
-We visited 3 extremely old churches with some tremendous history, one being the Frankfurt "Dom" where for hundreds of years, the German Kings were crowned.
Until Next Time,
STEPHEN BURT
